Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

I will post another video tomorrow - a bit of a surprise, really - but I had some time tonight so I recorded two new videos for YouTube. I'm awful at keeping fresh content on the channel so my guilt forced me to do something I may live to regret: I recorded Danny Boy and the Irish Washerwoman. How cliche!

Nice whistling, Ryan! Be sure to catch WJCU-FM 88.7 and streaming online for the St. a\Patrick's Day Irish Music (and stories) marathon. In its 17th year, and awesome!

I've been following your tutorial on the pennywhistle and its been a great help. I would love to see a gathering of whistlers with you, especially Brother Seamus Byrne http://www.brotherseamus.ie/home.html from Ireland. Ryan, have you considered CDs for your music?

I am open to making a CD but I need to (1) secure the financing for it and (2) have the time to set out the tracks I'd want to record. Since this is more of my avocation, I would want to make sure I did as best a job as I could on the debut album. Thanks, though, for the encouragement. I'll be studying in Boston for the next few years and the stimulation may lead me in a new direction!

Now that you're studying and living in the Boston area, one of the great Irish centers in USA, have you given consideration to incorporating your spiritual drive along with your love of Irish music especially the pennywhistle? As for making a CD and securing funds, I am sure the many pennywhistlers who have benefited immensely from your tutorials would support this project financially.
