The only way for "Anonymous" (if that's her real name) to state with any authority that I do not really want an answer to a question I have asked twice is if she, in fact, happens to be my wife.
In days of yore, it would have been my mom who would have been in position to make such an assertion.
Still, since my beloved hath given me a puzzled look when queried upon this very issue, I ask -- and I'm asking sincerely and non-loadedly -- what is Fr. Nicolás wearing in that 2nd picture. I don't particularly care what it is, I'm just curious.

P.S. Jason & Ryan, et al. -- not you "Anonymous" for your credentials in these matters is not yet established -- it's perfectly acceptable to me if you shrug and mumble "Dude. I dunno."

Ok, I'm trusting YOU to know. What is Father wearing (the garment with the red stripes) in the 2nd picture?
AMDG,

Fr. Nicolas was given a number of similar gifts from Jesuits around the world, reflecting the many cultures Jesuits are working among globally.
Jason,
That's perfectly true, no doubt. Still, what IS the gift in question?

Jason,
Joe doesn't really want an answer.

I only wish I knew!
The stripe pattern kinda looks like the cloak Moses wore in the The Ten Commandments.
But that's all I got.

Congratulations to all the Jesuits!
