When I was a very young child, many, many, years ago. My parents brought home a friend they had met on the Las Vegas strip.
That friend was Col. Harland Sanders. I remember that he was wearing a white suit. And yes, he did look like the pictures on the chicken box and the bust in the photo on your blog.
I remember Col. Sanders as being a nice old man.
As a little kid growing up in Las Vegas it was very cool to have the parents bring home people like Col. Sanders.
In those days you could meet famous people like singers, entertainers, and even the good old Col. Sanders and invite them home. And, you know, they were always happy when my parents would invite them to our home for dinner or just fun.
